General A mixture of grays, rusts, and browns blend across Borden’s back; his underside and all four of his paws flaunt ivory markings as his snout sports not only white on each side, but also a hint of gray and brown along the bridge. His eyes blaze a brilliant light gold (and, in certain lighting, a pale jade green); the areas underneath them on each side of his face accented with dark triangular markings. A plumed, black-tipped tail often gives away his mood when roused from his curious, generally calm demeanor. In the winter, his thick pelt adds a layer of bulk to his moderate frame.

Demeanor More than often, Borden is cautious, constantly using his senses to perceive everything around him. While he often attempts to keep his emotions unreadable, conversations are a sure-fire way to draw out the fire within him. Once unresponsive and preferring to be away from the rest of the world, he now quickly reacts to familiar and unfamiliar stimuli alike - be it a stranger's voice, his children's laughter, a shift in the wind or a disturbance in the settings around him - and is often drawn to commotion.
